WHEN Is Prophecy to be Opened to the WISE?

WHEN Does End Time Prophecy Begin?

“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” — Mk.13:32 (Mt. 24:36)

Does that verse prove we cannot know when the Messiah is to return? Are you sure? Are you sure it is not talking about something else? How would you know?

There are three books in the Bible that speak of the Messiah’s “Olivet Prophecy.” They are Matthew, Mark, and Luke. In particular, Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Only two of these quote the verse above. Luke does not.

Be that as it may, are we to understand from Matthew and Mark that we are not to “set dates” as the preachers of Churchianity claim? And, in particular dates that specify the date of the Messiah’s return?

These three chapters are what I call “the EASY prophecies.” They are the chapters all Bible “experts” on prophecy constantly quote. You know, wars, famines, earthquakes, disease, persecution. Everything that one can see and speculate about every day. Hardly a day goes by without those things being mentioned in the news. And, this has been going on for thousands of years. Yes, they are the easy prophecies. That is, EVERY ignorant Bible “scholar” can quote them and appear to be right. Then, on the other hand, by doing so they bring up the obvious criticism by unbelievers. “Oh yeah? Don’t you know these things have been happening since the earth began? So, what’s new? You guys are always prophecying these things.”

But, what about REAL prophecy? WHEN is/was REAL prophecy to begin? Now, don’t get me wrong, those things like wars, famines, earthquakes, disease, persecution, and, oh, rumors of wars, are all legitimate Bible prophecy. But, WHEN is/are they to actually be taken for end time prophecy, along with the Old Testament prophecies?

Well, Yahshua the Messiah clearly tells us in these Olivet Prophecy chapters. And, I mean, clearly. Let’s see.

There are two major points mentioned by Yahshua that most never pay attention to. Those two points are;

  1. The parable of the FIG tree, and trees. And,
  2. The fact that only the Father knows the day and the hour. But, of what? Today, though, we will discuss only the FIG tree.

“Now learn a parable of the FIG TREE; When His branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So LIKEWISE ye, when ye shall SEE all these things, KNOW that it is near, AT THE DOORS.” Mt. 24:32-33

“Verily I say unto you, THIS GENERATION shall not pass, till ALL these things be fulfilled.” Mt. 24:34

Well, it should be easy enough to see that the generation that sees the FIG TREE branch that is TENDER [new], and putteth forth leaves, is the generation to see ALL these things come to pass. In all of history, there is only ONE generation that saw this. That is, saw the tender FIG TREE come into existence. And, therefore, one might ask, “What generation was that?” Great question.

The Tender FIG TREE Blossoms Forth.

All we have to do is determine what, or who, is the tender FIG TREE. Once we know that, then we can find the ONE generation that saw its first bloom. So, WHO or WHAT is the fig tree of this “parable?”

“I found ISRAEL like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the FIRSTRIPE in the FIG TREE at her first time:” — Hosea 9:10

“Yahweh shewed me, and behold, two baskets of FIGS set before the temple of YHWH… One basket had very good figs, even like the FIGS that are FIRST RIPE: …” Jeremiah 24, read the whole chapter.

Now, let me ask you a question? WHO and or WHAT is the tender, new, firstripe, newly started FIG TREE spoken of by the Messiah in the verses above? Can you guess? Isn’t it obvious?

Without going into all the other verses, just know this. Israel was to be RETURNED to her homeland and become a nation again. That is now an established fact. So, WHEN did that nation, described as a FIG TREE, put forth her first branches? And, you don’t have to guess. It was May 15, 1948.

What generation SAW that happen? Why OUR generation, right now. THIS generation is the generation that will see ALL these things come to pass. Knowing this, with just a little insight, inspiration and common sense based on the Bible, we can know the chronology of events in THIS GENERATION.

Because of that, we can set dates, and benchmark years clear up to the return of the Messiah. How do I know that? Because Mk. 13:32 doesn’t forbid that. Nor does Mt. 24:36. Those verses are speaking of something else, not the day and hour of the Messiah’s return.
